Ramsey Sports Centre

Ramsey Sports Centre has been around for many years and has many facilities. Ramsey Sports Centre is located along Hollow Lane near Ramsey Abbey School and Ramsey Ailwyn School. It is fairly accessible and is close to the town. It has parking facilities and the building inside is very modern.

Ramsey Sports Centre has recently expanded and now has a gym, the gym is a franchise of a gym company called impressions. Ramsey Sports Centre also has many facilities these include:

• Gym - The facilities in the Gym include a range of  machines, heart  monitors and  assessment  programs. There are staff at hand all the time to help you and give you advice.

• Swimming pool- The swimming pool runs many different programs such as swimming lessons, play time, adult swimming etc.

• Health Spa- The health spa includes tanning beds, steam room, sauna, relaxations areas, shower and changing facilities.

• Cresh- This is somewhere where parents can leave there kids while they go and use the facilities available to them at Ramsey Sports Centre.

• Indoor Sports facilities - Groups of people can book the facilities at Ramsey Sports Centre to play sports such as  football, badminton, basketball etc.

• Children's  party hall and balcony-  Ramsey Sports Centre also has facilities that  you can book for children's birthday parties and other occasions. There are a number of  parties that can be done such as roller blading parties, swimming parties, football parties or just hall activity parties. Catering is also an option that is provided and a seating areas is available.

• Clubs and associations- Ramsey Sports Centre also allows many clubs to run from it such as  Ju Jitsu, Yoga, football and many others.

Lots of different people use the Ramsey Sports Centre and these span from children to OAP's using the different facilities. Local schools use Ramsey Sports Centre to go swimming and to use the sports facilities. Ramsey Ailwyn School use the facilities all the time and Ramsey Abbey have a contract running with the gym for 6th form students to use in their spare time. Ramsey Sports Centre is a place where anybody can go and feel that there is something there for them whether they are young, old, fit or unfit.

At Ramsey Sports Centre there is a membership system whereas you can get member discount and is easier, quicker and better for people to use. The staff are friendly and are willing to help you with any problems or queries that you have about the centre or the facilities.
