An interior photo of the windows in the SW corner of the church
The nave used to consist of eight bays but one has been embedded in the western tower. All the aches are two-centred of two plain orders. The tower arch is two-centred with semi-cylindrical responds having two attached shafts scalloped capitals and moulded bases. The piers have matching pairs. Some of the piers are shafts and others are round and octagonal. The present tower was built in 1672. The 15th century oak lectern has a steep double rotating desk, supported on a square stem with four buttresses surmounted by figures of the evangelists and it has been restored to its original appearance.
Note: I have to admit I forgot to take the large flash unit with me when I took these pictures so I was unable to take more of the interior. Those that I did take were to dark. Anyway it will be pleasure to return shortly to take some more.
