Scouring through the archives at the Country Record Office very little documentation or indeed archaeological work has been conducted in and around where it is thought the abbey used to be. All that remains of the abbey today are the foundations of what is called the "Lady Chapel" into the mansion house (see below) that occupies the site. I will be adding more detail of that at a later date.
