Ramsey Town Council is responsible for the cemetery at Wood Lane and buildings within, the new extension and the closed churchyard Church Green. The allotments on Stocking Fen Road. Play areas at Ramsey Forty Foot, St. Marys, Newtown Road, Mill Lane and King George V along with all play equipment, fencing etc. Church Green itself, war memorial and pond. The Clock in Great Whyte, millennium town signs and numerous benches and notice boards situated around the Town and villages. Some street lighting is also our responsibility but not all as some belong to District and County.

CELEBRATING
“NATIONAL ALLOTMENT AWARENESS WEEK”
OPEN DAY SATURDAY
14TH AUGUST 2010
Held at the Allotments on
Stocking Fen Road, Ramsey
(look out for road sign)
From 9.30am till 1pm
Admission Free
• Produce stall to purchase home grown vegetables
• Make a Scarecrow Competition for children - bring along their entries to be judged at 12.30pm.
Age groups 8 & under Up to 12yrs
• How to grow cress - for the children
• Bar-b-que
• Tea & Coffee
• Orange & Lemon squash
Giving you the opportunity to then view the site and ask any questions to help you grow your own vegetables more successfully
