Here we let you know what are the latest things we have added to the Ramsey site or which older items have been amended. The information in the box below is in reverse chronological order so that the newest item is at the top.
This site was originally on-line in 2000 and was re-built by students of Ramsey Abbey School whilst they were on Work Experience with the webmaster. The webmaster took the site down in 2002 when Ramsey Abbey School began to develop its own site for the town. However it appears over the last few years that site has not developed further nor, in the webmaster opinion, does it do justice to the town. It would appear that what is needed is some healthy competition to stimulate development so we have decided to republish the original site and give it a considerable overhaul which will occur over the next few weeks. You will be able to keep up with developments as they happen from this page.

Progress with the upgrade of the Ramsey Town Website is going really well. We have uploaded most of the community information and enough venues to open the events diary to receive entries from the public. Entries made into the Ramsey Event Diary on this site now also appear on our Huntingdonshire website to give you the mamixum potential audience. |

This website was originally started as part of a work experience project by students of Ramsey Abbey College but as time passed much of the information became out of date. We therefore decided to republish and upgrade the site adding facilities to allow registered users to add and amend their own details on-line from any web browser. Hopefully this will mean that the information on the site will remain current. |
